KTH-dESA builds capacity in water systems analysis in Uganda

Commissioned by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA), Eunice Ramos and Vignesh Sridharan lead capacity building efforts in the use of the Water Evaluation And Planning (WEAP) software, to Ugandan government officials.The workshop, that took place in Kampala between 05-09 of September, focused on providing the participants with an introductory understanding of the water systems modelling tool.The workshop finished with the participants presenting scenarios specific to Uganda which applied the general concepts that were discussed during the workshop.
