In Congo, ~58% of the population does not have access to electricity. UNDESA and UNDP in collaboration with KTH-dESA have developed a national investment outlook that will allow the country to achieve universal access to electricity by 2030. The investment requirements vary between 0.35 – 7.39 billion USDdepending on the selected electrification approach, which will allow 4.51 million people getting access to modern, reliable and affordable electricity services by 2030.
