In Ghana, 36% of the population does not have access to electricity. UNDESA in collaboration with KTH dESA have developed a national investment outlook that will allow the country to achieve universal access to electricity by 2030. The investment requirements vary between 2.5 – 31.9 billion USD depending on the selected electrification approach, which will allow 20.5 million people getting access to modern, reliable and affordable electricity services by 2030.
