Africa's first open-access, national regional and continental, electricity investment and trade model - TEMBA - was published in the peer reviewed journal Energy for Sustainable Development. The paper was led by Constantinos Taliotis of KTH-dESA, and it identifies investment by type, country, timing and size. The model is implemented in OSeMOSYS and is constantly updated by a group of researchers at the division.
