Meet Jagruti Ramsing Thakur, our new assistant professor
We are thrilled to introduce our latest team member, Dr. Jagruti Ramsing Thakur, who joins us as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Heat and Power Technology. Dr. Thakur is a distinguished scholar with a PhD in Energy System Analysis and Retail Rate Modeling from the esteemed Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, India. Her research has a special focus on demand side management and now wired alternatives for sustainable energy production and consumption.
Prior to joining us, Dr. Thakur was a senior researcher at the division of energy systems at KTH. She has also served as a Project Executive for GIS-based urban planning projects in India, showcasing her practical expertise.
In her new role, Dr. Thakur will lead research efforts in Distributed Energy Resources and Smart Energy Networks whereby she would aim to achieve synergies between industrial issues, solutions for cities and practical application of academia research. Her diverse interests span Demand Side Management, Cross Border Trade, Local Energy Communities, Energy Storage, Electrification/Hydrogenation of the transport sector, and Energy Systems Modeling.
