Energy and water implications of climatic changes on crop production in Uganda
New publication from KTH-dESA!
A new study published by KTH-dESA researchers explores the impact of climate change-induced water availability on crop production in Uganda. In addition to the variability in crop yield, the change in irrigation water requirements and energy demand for pumping are also estimated for selected climate futures. This study, published as part of the MDPI-special issue on the nexus between Water-Energy-Food systems , provides an evaluation of the national irrigation master plan in Uganda from a CLEWs perspective.
