Integrated CLEWs in an urban world
Lunch seminar presentation by KTH-dESA researcher
On October 3rd 2019, as part of a lunch seminar series on climate and energy, KTH-dESA researcher Rebecka Engström presented her work on integrated CLEW systems from an urban perspective. The talk explored the need for local action in exploring sustainable energy solutions and greenhouse gas emissions reduction to meet global climate commitments. But, some of these actions, implemented on a local scale, will have impacts on other resources. Rebecka’s research focuses on how we can assess impacts on water and land resources, both within a city and outside its borders – and the implications of these interactions on the global sustainability agenda.
