Circularity measurement for automotive industries
The main objective of this project is to develop a model to evaluate the circularity of suppliers to automotive industries considering the environment as well as economic implications.
Background
There is a need to assess circularity of the operation of businesses for sustainable practices in industries. In this thesis, design of CE indicators from supplier’s perspective will be considered. In addition, the economics of the indicators needs to be developed to highlight the business value of circularity to industries.
Task description
- Designing model for measuring circularity indicators (for eg. mathematical model) considering resource efficiency and energy efficiency
- Translating the developed indicators into economical valuation for participating entities
- Development/Design of a tool for the usage of the designed indicators
This project will be carried out in collaboration with KTH, Energy Technology, division of Energy Systems, and Easy to Trust AB.
This position is paid.
