Kartläggning och Optimering av kyla på KTH Campus

Bakgrund

Kyla till KTH Campus produceras centralt med kylmaskiner samt fjärrkyla från Sthlm Exergi. Kylan distribueras via kulvertar till respektive byggnad på KTH Campus.

I byggnaderna används kylan till en rad olika ändamål såsom komfortkyla i kontor/undervisningssalar, kyla till datorhallar, kök, laboratorieverksamhet mm.

I tidigare exjobb har noterats att kyla används under vintern i flertalet byggnader. Det finns relevanta förklaringar till det såsom datorhallar och vis labverksamhet behöver kyla vintertid, men det har även belyst behov att mer utförligt kartlägga vad kylan används till, att den används optimalt och är injusterad.

Syfte och Mål

Syftet med examensarbetet är att kartlägga hur kylan används i byggnaderna och ge förslag på optimering i ett urval av byggnaderna, samt ge förslag på hur produktion av kyla kan kostnads- och energioptimeras.

Metod

- Energimätare i energiportalen ger information om energi- och effektanvändning av kyla i respektive byggnad. Kartläggning av hur kyla används i respektive byggnad kan ske genom platsbesök, information från ritningar, styr- och reglersystem och intervjuer med Akademiska Hus och verksamhet.

- Kartläggning av optimeringsmöjligheter i byggnaderna kan ske genom att se över kylkrav, reglering och hur kylan tillförs samt genom intervjuer med Akademiska Hus och verksamhet. Returtemperaturen kan erhållas från energimätarna för att ge indikation på injusteringbehov.

- Metod för att kartlägga möjligheter till att optimera kylproduktionen (genom att tex höja returtemperaturen från byggnaderna) kan studeras genom loggning av elmätare, produktionsmätare samt temperaturer och datablad för kylcentralen. Möjlighet att kostnadsoptimera produktionen av kyla kan kartläggas utifrån gällande tariffer på el och fjärrvärme i kombination med möjligheter att påverka inköpt el och fjärrkyla genom styrning och ev. lagring.
